This typewriter was likely made in the 1920s and would have been used at St Dunstan's to train World War 1 veterans to write using Braille.
It is functional. Six keys plus a large spacebar across the front. The serial number of this specific piece is 608. Made by Redwing Ltd, in Croyden, England.
